Squat with Straight Bar Fitness Exercises


Muscles: Quadriceps, gluteus maximus, soleus and all the back muscles (especially the back muscles: muscles of the spine).

What you need to do: knee flexion (this movement is called: squat) is the king of motion-exercises. It is working all the muscles of the thighs, but also many of the rest of the body muscles.

Stand with feet shoulder width apart basin, a straight bar resting on the back of the shoulders (you can equip your bar with a foam sleeve that makes the most comfortable position). Hands are spaced shoulder width apart.

Bend your knees and buttocks down to the ground. Your heels should not be off the ground during the descent. When your thighs are parallel to floor, slowly return to the starting position with the strength of your thighs and glutes. Flexibility in working smoothly. To keep your back straight when performing this exercise, look ahead (do not look at your feet).  

Squat with Dumbbells Fitness Exercises

What you need to do: This exercise is a variation of the classic knee flexion named: squat. It is made with a set of two small dumbbells.

Stand with feet shoulder width apart basin, a dumbbell in each hand, arms  
hanging along the body. 

Bend your knees and buttocks down to the ground. Your heel should not lift off the ground during the descent. When your thighs are parallel to floor, slowly return to the starting position with the strength of your thighs and glutes. Flexibility in working smoothly. To keep your back straight when performing this exercise, look ahead (do not look at your feet).

Precautions: For people with knee problems, it is advisable not to go too low: when the thighs are parallel to the floor, ascend slowly.

What you need to do: This exercise toning the thighs and glutes is perfect to complete a basic strength training.  

Supported on legs,the knees resting on the floor and slightly apart, hands on hips. Down the bust back, while contracting the gluteal muscles.Do not sit on your heels. return to the starting position slowly and gradually when you feel a contraction in the quadriceps (on the front of the thigh). When performing this exercise it is essential not to dig the lumbar (lower back).

Breathing: breathe in performing this exercise (emptying the lungs) when you return to the starting position and inhale (inflate the lungs) when you get bust back.
